    We really need to know what vaccines have been used. Ukraine has used a lot of the Chinese vaccine ( anecdotal ) and Hungary ( supposedly ) a lot of Russian vaccine. Were these good choices ?

    There is also a theory that the Russian Flu of 1889-91 was actually Coronavirus - which shows these pandemics do tend to get weaker over time.

    The government's own no-deal Brexit report listed fuel shortages as a consequence. It is not beyond the realms of possibility that the closed ports could result in similar. "Better safe than sorry" as the old saying goes.
