My concern is that it won't be just that 2 weeks. If there are guarantees that it will be that then everyone who's jabbed and boosted is fee to get on with life that's fine. If the 2 weeks becomes 2 months then 6 months and say 75 percent of adults are boosted why should that 75 percent continue...

It definitely makes sense to me that it wouldn't take 2.weeks to take effect as by its very nature its to boost what's already there.

I've spoken to a few today who are being put off getting boosted for that reason. If the boosters are the answer and are going well why would we need restrictions

My mum's pretty similar. 85 and doesn't travel much now but has now been persuaded to come to us for a few days. When I broached the covid subject she said she couldn't care less now. She's sacrificed plenty and in her words she doesn't know how many more Christmases she has.
