We live in a world with Covid. Ignore it and get on with life. I bet you barely notice the difference. If it is back, I'm looking forward to an invite to a No.10 par.. I mean work meeting.

It was not aimed at either of you. Apologies if it seemed as such.

Calm down, Pike. It's the delayed Christmas data. Go and get yourself a nice beef and horseradish sandwich at the Morrison's cafe and have a little break from your worrying. It was bound to happen, lots of people moving around at Christmas time. Students back from uni etc. It'll calm down in...

I did that not so long ago. And you’re correct. Fascinating. I was particularly naive.

My plans won’t be changing because of anything those ***** tell me to do.

Thanks due to Bozza for posting booster links these last few weeks. Judging by the enormous, snaking queue outside Churchill Sq today, you’ve saved many of us a lot of time. Many thanks.

Ha! I think we’ll be okay. NY however? Could be different!

What a drama! I test every shift for work so no, I’d go home and isolate. Stop catastrophising and imagining I’m some kind of irresponsible super spreader. I will continue my life, with precautions unless I catch it , in which case I’ll go home and cause some shit in the bear pit for ten days...

Lots of things planned for NY too. If they’re open and going ahead, I’ll be there. We can’t hide inside every time the boffins get a little excited.

Absolutely. I’m just off into Brighton to meet 7 others for breakfast. I’m all jabbed and masked and ready to mingle. Pub this afternoon. The vaccines work. Go out and live.

Doesn’t work. We tried incentives to get heroin addicts to have their jabs. A sector of society who need money and aren’t afraid of needles. Even provided a free taxi to get there as well. Not one took us up on it.

Happy to try the anti vax lockdown/passport first. But we’re either serious about sorting this out or we’re not. However, once we basically put anti vaxxers on indefinite lockdown, I’d say they will change their values overnight.

I am now of the opinion the only way forward with Covid is mandatory vaccination and severe penalties for those who refuse to comply.

I can’t find the stats (I’ll have a look) but I read that the majority of people with the new variant are going into hospital for other reasons, get tested and are found to have it with no ill effects. I hope it’s a fast spreader. Let’s all get some heightened immunity to it quickly and let...

Not even in the top ten headlines in The G or on the BBC. Hopefully people are starting to calm down a little and get a grip. Perhaps they could now start clearing the backlog of operations. 13,000 cancelled in the last two months. Perhaps those who refused vaccinations who are now in hospital...

Get vaccinated, take precautions, wear your mask, stay away from crowded places if you’re vulnerable. Beyond that? Keep calm and carry on. I think some people are having trouble leaving Covid restrictions behind. Some have seen life at a slower pace and don’t want to go back to normal life. New...

Ha! Well, I am very sceptical of the inquiry into the pandemic's origins. I don't regard it to be CT when one considers; The pandemic likely originated in Wuhan In Wuhan there is a Covid research laboratory In that lab, scientists were and still are, specifically working on designing Covid...
