I still occasionally check in with some of the zero-covid loons on twitter, just for a spot of light entertainment.
They're still calling for masks and social distancing in schools, still claiming it doesn't do psychological harm.

It is a bit pricey, I usually wait for Holland and Barrett to do a sale and then stock up. I know Aldi do their own version which is a bit more reasonable.
I think there was a lot of anecdotal evidence but hadn't been a proper study so there was always a bit of doubt.
As you say though, it's a bit of a no brainer to start supplementing because it's recommended anyway and there were enough stories floating around that it could be beneficial against...
I'm sure it will all come out in the wash very soon but this subject seems to be very open to interpretation.
It will be interesting to know if sinovac still keeps you out of hospital. I've seen a lot of people judging vaccine effectiveness only on whether it stops you catching covid. I find...
And this is the point. There's a world of difference between recommending something and making it a legal requirement.
The net result would've been lots of pain for no gain whatsoever.
Was always a f**ckin idiotic policy. They should've dropped it the second it became clear that vaccinations didn't make much difference to transmission.
No it doesn't need questioning and it's not a throw away remark.
That's a very real dilemma that people face, not just for covid. In the past I've had to have that conversion regarding close family.

Found this article that I remembered reading.
Re: the bit in bold. Getting it twice doesn't mean you didn't still have some level of immunity. IMHO we'll all be catching this...
Obviously we're all just regurgitating what we've read from our favoured sources, but everything I've read about viruses in the last two years says that your body retains some level of protection for years, perhaps the rest of your life. You're referring to antibody levels dropping to zero, but...
I mentioned this on the vaccine thread, I was in a pretty bad way after my 2nd Pfizer. Everyone I know who's had Omricon was no worse than a cold. I'm under 40, not vulnerable, had covid the first time round. Seems logical to give it a miss.
It's not just a UK thing either. The EMA have also said that 4th jab boosters shouldn't be given to most people due to the knock on effect on the immune system. Ironically twitter labelled it as misleading
