Keep getting fb ads for "Bee Bombs". Being lazy and wishing to encourage bees does anyone have experience/views on them?

We have lots of Lavender which is getting a little unruly. Should I be cutting it back or wait until autumn?

km Tree/plant Id please. Top one is a medium size tree that came with the house - we have one either side of the garden. Bees love it, hence we call it our "bee tree". Small pink flowers are opening, these develop into berries that the birds feast on (and sh*t all over the decking!)...

First post on this thread - could the Percy Thrower's on here be gentle :) Sadly did not inherit my parent's gardening genes otherwise our garden would be a splash of colour and we would have a well tended allotment :) Photo attached shows the nether reaches past the end of teh decking which...
