Title: "Everything causes cancer? Beliefs and attitudes towards cancer prevention among anti-vaxxers, flat earthers, and reptilian conspiracists: online cross sectional survey"
Objective: To...
To you and to Motogull and vegster, thanks for the good wishes
I tested positive yesterday (2 x lateral flow) and went for pcr testing today. I have a bit of a cough, no temperature, not much appetite, and feel a bit weak, so almost no different from how I am normally :mad...
Quite. But the consequences will be bed blocking (see London hospitalization figures).
I am not in favour of a lockdown.
What I would ike to see is people who have declined the offer of a vaccine told to stay at home if they get Covid. It won't happen though because we let the NHS treat...
My job is teaching and research so the evolution of a view about something is critical to half of what I do. I don't have any problem with people who have access to data describing that data and, in a 'free society' one expects journalists to ask questions, some good, some provocative and some...
You have hit the nail on the head.
The Johnson understands that vaccination is effective so he's pushing it.
But he is a libertarian so he does not want to 'make' people be vaccinated. And he will not penalise anyone who 'for legitimate reasons ' (which are, of course, their own business) is...
You are correct. But Mustafa is also correct that very soon it will be.
As the whale in Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy said, as it burst into existence and hurtled towards the planet Magrathea:
"I wonder if it will be friends?".
I would suggest from the data from my area (below) and elsewhere that the new Covid peak is disproportionately in the young, compared with the last peak. Thus the lower mortality rate may reflect the age of those who are catching it. However this may still mean that the new varient is highly...
WRT mass surveillance, could that be why 'Asian Women are looking for Faversham Male'? I get this across the top of NSC regularly.
Personally....I'm not sure if I care. Do I care? Mmmmmm.......yyyyyyyyyy....no
Yep. First point, I'm sure you're right.
Second point, I imagine it would be impossible here because we have no way of checking whether individuals have been vaccinated without a 'receipt', and people would simply disregard the requirement. There is an argument for ID cards with chips that can...
Indeed.
I heard yesterday that over 90% of pregnant women hospitalized with Covid are unvaccinated. Many have died.
Austria has just announced that those who aren't vaccinated must stay at home for the next ten days.
****em, I say.
I would add the MMR anti-vaxxers to the list. Unless you...
I am not in favour of any sort of lockdown. I think we are doing what we need to do, but I would like to see restrictions on those who refuse to be vaccinated for 'personal' reasons. The new drug that reduces symptoms may help tip the balance for those still worrying about going out and about...
Listening to the radio, there are increasing issues in the NHS, with delays in treatment (and diagnosis) reflected in the increase in excess covid-unrelated deaths (see below). Boris has been told, hence his cautious press statement last week (that went largely unnoticed). New case levels seem...
