Radetzky March by Joseph Roth - a novel about the decline and fall
of Austro-Hungarian Empire. The longing for things past, nostalgia and a lot
of historical detail. If you're into history of central Europe and good literature,
then this book is a must. I also recommend The Emperor's Tomb by the same
author.

The Leopard by Jo Nesbo

There's a great Italian historical novel with the same title...

I've gone back to The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime as preparation for seeing a preview of the new National theatre Production of it later in the month. I'd forgotten how good it is!

Harrowing. What a supposed democracy can achieve when it controls what access external media and aid agencies have to its actions is terrifying.

Finished Chris Kamaras autobiography , rather enjoyed it - it's another quick read (following the same ilk as Jeff Stellings autobiography)
