There was a quite amusing moment earlydoors today when Starmer asked Sunak a question and Sunak just sat there with his head down, continuing to read his notes. Then he suddenly seemed to remember where he was and shot to his feet
I have never seen anyone come remotely close to Braverman's ongoing impression of a bulldog chewing a wasp :lolol:

2-0 to Starmer this week, a fairly routine victory not helped by Sunak being down to ten men after losing Sir Gavin Williamson but Starmer took full advantage.

PM questions is a totally pointless weekly event.

MPs from the same party will only ask questions that the PM can totally agree about while all the questions from the opposition parties are never answered but instead are turned round with some point that has nothing to do with the question asked.

The sooner this whole den of filth and villany is swept away and PR is put in its place the better

Absolutely the opposite to the bit in bold above. It's the one fixed appointment when PM du jour is subject to full scrutiny in the full glare of parliament and the electorate. Even BJ couldn't give it a swerve, much as he'd have dearly loved to. Instead he was reduced to making a complete clown of himself. Not that that took much doing, mind

Exactly. The PM may well not answer any questions..........but that non-answering is televised and is there for all to see.

Yes 99% of it is ridiculous nonsense but we should NEVER lose the chance for opposition MPs to hold the government to account publicly.

Absolutely - It gives us the only short window where the PM is exposed, we can see where there head is, how calm or otherwise they may be. Yesterday told us an awful lot about the latest clown to take the chair!

Gods country fortnightly
For all Johnson's lies he did tend to come out fighting at PMQ

When Sunak has to bring out the old Corbyn jibe you know he's losing.

Going to get harder for the Tories and the country, after a decade of mismanagement we're now straight jacketed back where we started under this low, austerity....

What we really need is a Speaker who will make the PM answer the question that has been asked and not allow the shit to start wittering on with some random bollocks about Jeremy Corbyn or anything else.

I have heard many times the Speaker say "The Prime Minister will be heard". What he should be saying is "The PM will be heard answering the question put". Then I'm sure we would all be a lot happier.

Recorded yesterdays encounter, an entertaining affair, but a 1-1 draw for me.

It's a shame some of the people in the audience (I am looking at you SNP) couldn't be trusted to behave.
