Here’s part of the club’s reply to my query about lack of takeaway pies in 1901:

“Finally, in answer to the queries we have received since the week-end, our traditional “concourse pies” will continue to be available in our 1901 Club from our next home match against West Ham United and for the rest of the season.”

Looks like there’s been a sudden attack of common sense.

Now I’ve helped fixed that I’ll move onto less-pressing world issues.

Well done.

Can you now get them to employ some competent bar staff?

What are 'concourse pies' and how do they differ from the normal ones?

I'm sure we can rally the troops again and get you concourse pies for WSU.

WSU has the least selection of everything within the stadium. We're fortunate to have air.

That’s because you have tickets subsidised by 1901 and the Tunnel Club. Ungrateful sod

Well done @Skuller , Chicken Balti pies had better be one of the pies brought back!

Very strange choice as they always seemed to sell out.

You missed gravy gate. Pies were available in 1901 but with added peas, mash and Gravy (for a premium natch). Given these types of food are associated with people on benefits, the 1901 club rose up as one to complain. As a result, the specialist Prawn sandwich pie is once again available in 1901 without added poor people ingredients.

Chip butties are off the menu too, thank God

Certainly a funny old state of affairs when the NS has almost certainly the most choice and best availability of 'concourse pies' in the entire stadium. I guess every other home stand just gets overwhelmed by sheer weight of numbers
