I wonder if the Dunk songs will stop now that they’ve signed Henderson.

Not really the same though, because Henderson's girlfriend accused him of attacking her, whereas Dunk was accused of feeding a woman a chicken burger.

Well, that was an interesting CB partnership for England last night!

That's the best I've seen Guehi play. I haven't seen much in him playing for Hodgson in the low block. He looked decent yesterday. Partnering Maguire against Ukraine at the weekend, he suffered the same problem that Dunk did in the second half. He drags his centre half partners too deep. Dunk and Guehi exchanged plenty of passes in the first half and both looked for the progressive pass opportunities. They and Rice and Phillips looked for the runners. In the second half, Dunk tried to do the same thing with Maguire, but he's just not comfortable taking the ball in tight spaces. The excellent Walker, as well as Ramsdale became the better options.

Palace are one of the clubs being reported as interested in Xeka, a Portugese free agent from Ligue 1.

His summary on Whoscored.com says he has:

No significant strengths;
Is ill disciplined;
Fouls a lot; &
Likes to play long balls.

Translate that into Latin and they'll have a new club motto.
Sounds like their super-computer is working perfectly, what's the issue?

Sounds like the perfect fir for them. Pure Hodgson antifootball at Beaky's favourite price.

They just stink the league out on the whole but annoyingly stay up. Can’t be much fun though - I’m that note where’s my passport… 🤪

Noticed their score just as we went into stoppage time - fair play to them - 10 points and 3 wins is a huge return and a win at Villa is a real statement.

Pleased to see Palace lose, but I would also have been happy with a draw.

I heard on the radio that Roy had been taken ill this morning before the game, I hope he soon feels better.
He always comes across as a very fair and kind person.
Yep - have to say after a run of easily unlikeable twats Roy seems a decent bloke. Even Viera came across ok. I was hoping to see all the usual suspects on this thread tonight but they don’t seem to be…

Guehi should move south to a bigger club.
There can't be a single player in Europe that wouldn't want to play for RDZ in his sexy football team.
If we could offer Champions League football next season, it would make our recruitment teams job a doddle.
Guehi and Colwill must both lay in bed at night thinking about Brighton.
