We've all probably felt like it bright on Q - hopefully very few have ever done it. None of us have ever then come on here before the game is over and spewed indignation all over the place.

Where does one send Darwin Award nominations?

PS Sulli played WAY over expectations. Delighted for him.

Personally iv'e never left a football match early, but that's because I'm a tight arse and want to get every cent of value for my money.

But having said that there's probably people posting in this thread bagging PMB who have left games early for whatever reasons they had.

Never leave a Brighton match early :thud:

How many times have we produced a second-half comeback, quite a few I believe. And, especially during night matches at Withdean. Must be something in the woods!

Anyone going to admit leaving the Swindon play-off match early

Don't forget Glen Murray equaliser against Man. City with a few minutes to go! You then got another 40 minutes of entertainment for your money

i believe it is the same person who also STORMED out of hartlepool away last season when they equalised, missing the moment of the YEAR when bas danced his way through the defence

that is correct

Why would you ever walk out when your team still has a chance? MUG

To be fair I didn't give us a prayer at half time, I just hoped that might sneak a goal, never in my wildest dreams did I think we could turn it around.

Correct - and as a Brighton fan you get used to it over the years. But the question you ask yourself is "will it make a difference if I stay here and shout my head off?" and the answer will always be "maybe, just maybe". So you stay.

Neither did I, but I would NEVER walk out on my team when its 2-0 at half time. We still had a chance ffs.

Never spoke to a single person at half-time who thought we'd turn it around. General consensus was that we'd end up on the receiving end of another couple of goals in the second half.

At least they were STILL THERE to discuss it.

Just imagine how many people would have left if it had started raining at half time?

Having said that, you really are tempting fate if you leave at half time and post about it on a forum :clap2:

and Pornomagboy, I thank you very much for doing so.

Spent the first half following the game on my Blackberry at Madrid Airport. As we landed at Gatwick I switched it back on with a heavy heart only to see the magic 3-2 on the BBC videprinter and let out a yelp of delight that pointed out to my fellow travellers that I was indeed jeopardising the flight communications. And the next score waspalace 1 Forest 2!
I gave my family's 3 STs to a neighbour who took his 6yo (and friend) for the first time so I just hope they survived the cold and stayed longer than pornomagboy 'cos I hope we will have some life converts.
Never leave before the end - Keep The Faith!!
O and Real 3 Bilbao 2 was pretty good too: the Basques deserved a point not least for the horrible abuse the smug Franco-wanks were giving the small band of proud Athletic fans I was sat near.
Can't wait for Millwall now.
