Ian Rush?! Are you taking the piss?

Ian Rush was class at home & in European competition. Cantona was great at home, but shite in Europe. Baggio & probably Klinsmann should be there, but not Cantona. And Rush deserves to be there without doubt

Ian Rush deserves to be in there.

I believe he was one of the bests striker in Europe from 1982 - 1985. Probably in the top 3 or 4 then.

Although he had good service

Anyone who doubts how great Rush was in his prime just look at those two goals he scored in the 1986 Fa Cup final.

Also that chip away at Aston Villa about 1983 I think, it was superbly executed.

He didn't really do the business consistently at international level though which has let him down.
