    [Albion] Baldock

I'd be delighted for him if this is true as one of my biggest regrets from that first season is Baldock not being given an opportunity in the PL. Some of his goals in the Championship were simply sublime and some of the best I've seen for the Albion.
  2. Shooting Star

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

What worries me is that we are fabled for our succession planning, but from all the rumours it sounds like we're scrambling around, reacting to situations rather than being ahead of the curve. Surely GP wasn't part of the succession plan? There must be names aside from McKenna on the list...

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

Can't be bothered to go back and quote the post, but yes, I would rather us get relegated than have Potter back. Some things are more important than PL status. Integrity is one of them.

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

100,000% this. How could anyone who savoured the cathartic joy of revenge in the 4-1 victory against Chelsea want him back on the touchlines for us?
  5. Shooting Star

    [Albion] Potter’s return?

I’d be so, so disinterested in next season if he came back. One of my least favourite Albion managers.

[Albion] Roberto De Zerbi To Leave Albion After Tomorrow's Game

As disappointed as I am, I think the statement from Tony is telling that this was as much Albion’s decision as it was Roberto’s. Phrases like “leaving on good terms” and hoping the fans give him a “wonderful and fully deserved send-off” suggests that this decision suits both parties. All good...

We're not. We're of comparable size and their history is more illustrious than ours.

    [Albion] Kieran McKenna

And this is exactly the kind of arrogance that Chelsea fans used to justify why Caicedo, Cucurella, Potter etc should join them. McKenna should stay put. Ipswich are very well run and are on the up. He'd be mad to leave IMO.
  9. Shooting Star

    [Albion] Danny Welbeck

That's incredible. What's even moreso is that his goal production has remained relatively the same throughout his career and hasn't dropped off (roughly 1 goal per 5 appearances).

[Football] League Two Play-Off Final: Crawley Town vs Crewe Alexandra (Sunday, 13:00)

Come on Crewe. There's only one team in Sussex.

    [Football] FA Cup semi finals

I get angrier about it the more I think of it.

    [Football] FA Cup Replays Scrapped

I think you've decided you don't like my opinion, ignored where I conceded that I could be wrong (see Posh comment) and also overlooked a relevant case study, all whilst being fairly rude in the process.

    [Football] FA Cup Replays Scrapped

100% agree. I'd be eager for somebody with the time and inclination to work out the statistics of how often a lower-ranked team wins the replay (either home or away). I'd imagine it's extremely low. I, for one, am really pleased. Replays are an utter waste of time for me. With very little...
