I'm sure I remember when the stadium was being built we were supposed to have outstanding acoustics, in fact it was one of the key requests. So was Tony sold something which was unfit, bit like the beautiful blue roof.

Or, was the stadium designed to only provide a certain level of noise to get through the planning, were we so desperate to get the planning agreed that the noise was intentionally dampened down and only in exceptional circumstances the noise level could achieve high levels

At away grounds I'm sure the PA system is set up in such a way that it is extremely LOUD in the away end. Cant think where, but at least two grounds where singing is a waste of time.
