Posted elsewhere but thought might be interesting to some....... I don't know as much about smaller league or South America so people could maybe add below any names.

Not aiming for a list to in a week or two someone say oh he was right as far too many names listed....... plus will be someone we've never heard of anyway. But to drive up some excitement for anyone bored.......

Christian Streich at Freiburg worth a look. Have a little read :)

Eric Roy was a sporting director for a while and then did fine at Nice, before absolutely amazingly at Brest. Could we tempt him away from CL football though? Unlikely but they've suddenly lost their last 2 games. 4-2-3-1 mixed with 4-1-4-1 would fit us.

If want excitement and more risk than 2 above, someone used to doing well in top league on small budget Ivan Juric maybe but is very attacking and gungho

Thiago Motta famous a few months ago for playing 2-7-2 would be funny and whilst linked to huge clubs not sure he'd be their choice. Are we big enough to tempt him though as might feel he has better chance at a huge move if stays and backs himself.

Vincenzo Italiano good pedegree at Spezia and done decent with Fiorentina

Imanol Alguacil if we wanted Spanish. Uses players super weirdly ala Potter

Michel at Girona maybe views 10th after promotion as a ceiling and sideways to us having more potential? Would sort out our CM situation but might not favour our exciting wingers more use a couple attacking players in behind. Mitoma could cope but March might end up as a wingback or lost to the system.

Yes....

Eric Roy manager of Brest, 4th in Ligue Un, could secure Champion League tonight.

Brest are the Bournemouth of French football with a tiny ground, the ex-Sunderland man has performed miracles there.

Would be a very Albion type appointment
