We are new to Europe. I was being a tad facetious about our 4 games in a weekend, it’s the standard response from anyone over 50 to a claim that players are tired. Not sure the young players you have mentioned have benefitted physically by being over played.
Where does this myth about a youngster being able to play 2 games in 3 or 4 days without any affect come from? Yes, I know we used to play 4 matches in a weekend without it doing us any harm, etc, etc …. But did we play at that level, the intensity or have a training and fitness program designed...
