    [Albion] RDZ out

When I started this thread, everyone thought I was on a fishing trip. I’d like to state that I’m not just using the benefit of hindsight to to say that I really wasn’t.

It’s not so much the results and league position. I think most of us accept that we’ve had injuries to key players and having the extra 8 Europa fixtures will make things harder. Main issue, for me anyway, is the general demeanour and criticism of the transfer policy.

    [Albion] RDZ out

Er, no, the thread was/is a genuine challenge as to whether or not RDZ is still the man for the job. His first season was undoubtedly a huge success, but he appears reluctant to adapt our style of play to account for different situations.

He's not the messiah, is he? Schoolboy defending tonight.

I've no idea, but w all know that Bloom/Barber will have a short list already for his successor, and it almost certainly won't be any of the names normally associated with the elite-level managerial merrygoround. I'd certainly have faith given their recent history with both BHA and USG.

Definitely not. Whilst the run of results we were on at the end of his time was almost certainly the best we've had since promotion, he burned his bridges by leaving mid season and taking long-term staff with him - not just his assistants.

I think the title needs to be a bit controversial to get the engagement. RDZ definitely needs to be challenged though. We’re coming up to the most prestigious game in our history and his general demeanour is poor and his team has put in a piss poor performance - not to mention the stubbornness...

Stop getting personal, mate. I’m entitled to an opinion.

Yep, as per my post above, he inherited a team that was on a run of over 2 points a game. And we’d played some very decent teams in that run as well.

With Potter though, he didn’t seem as stubborn, and although his tactics were worked out to an extent, he adaoted and certainly ended his time on a high results wise. Can’t not give him credit for the run of 30 points from 13 games before he left. He’d have probably adapted and got Chelsea...

I reckon that stability starts at the back. I can’t think of many successful teams that don’t have a solid and reliable keeper (that plays every game). I thought the club had played a blinder by getting 25m for Sandhez and replacing him with a young keeper challenging to be Dutch No. 1 with 5m...

One or the other. Neither has been great this year, but I’m sure they’d both have been better with a decent run. Bart hasn’t been selected for the Dutch senior team for the LOLs.

I'm glad I don't appear to be the only one with these frustrations, not just on the sturborness to accept the keeper rotation just doesn't work, but also the moodiness and implicit moaning about signing policy. We may not have spent big, but it's not always about the ££. What we have done is...

What, having an opinion? You can review my posting history if you like, and you’ll find I’m usually fairly positive and pragmatic, so not some sort of negative doom monger like Junior.

It’s not playing Jason Steele that’s his wrong doing; it’s rotating keepers every 2 games. I prefer Bart, but I’d prefer he just stuck to one keeper. It must surely affect the defence having a different keeper. There’s a reason no other team rotates keepers like this, and it’s derailing our...

Is he trying to get himself sacked? I’ve had enough of constant keeper rotation every 2 games with no regard to how well the respective keeper has actually played before being dropped. It’s no wonder our defence has been turd all season.
