[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

Agree. Was starting to look very good until the injury. Unfortunately that seems to have effectively ended the opportunity for him and us. Interested to see where he goes next. Barca have no chance of getting what they might have wanted, and he’ll need to take a big pay cut if he wants a move...

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

De Zerbi said: “Our responsibility is to help him to improve his performances, to improve his physical condition, to improve his mentality, because to play in the Premier League to have to be stronger in mentality, stronger in physicality and then we are ready to play with him in the first XI...

It‘s clearly ‘mentality’ (source RdeZ) as much as ‘fitness’, which is an even more damning indictment of him……..

That wasn’t the point of the response though…….

I’ve worked with quite a few high earners. Genuinely never met one who took a 50% pay cut for doing the same job somewhere else.

Barca won’t offer much ‘cash’ plus a player because they don’t have any Everton won’t take much of a punt on Fati at the moment - his stock/value is way down due to injury and failure to prove him in the PL

No use coming on here with rational, well-constructed, logical discussion.........

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

No chance. There would have been a genuine belief that he’d be worth it. If he hadn’t got in he might have been…..we’ll probably never know.

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

Really unfortunate (although predictable to a degree given his record) that he got injured just as he seemed to be settling in and starting to have an impact - it essentially buggered up any chance of his loan spell turning into what we hoped it might. Sad for him and us - and interesting to see...

Nah. He was looking really good before his injury. We and he have been unlucky.

Why would Fati's loan ending be a reason for RDZ to leave ?

[Albion] Ansu Fati **Signed On Loan 01/09**

All that does is leave them in control of any transaction (and stop clubs like us dictating things). Release clauses are mandatory in Spain so it’s just ticking that box.

Nothing- they are financially screwed and he’s an academy product, so the sale would be all profit.

Manage all their minutes to lessen the chances of further injuries and terrify other sides by bringing on such talent with 20 mins to go……
