Back in them for shops and public transport due to a big rise in cases. Prague mayor blaming govt for easing restrictions too early

Yeah, I saw that at the time. When just about every country in Europe was locking down borders, and enforcing masks, the UK government advice was 'wash your hands'. Incredible, and then rolling out excuses for the UK having among the largest death tolls in the world.. Sadly, that advice appears...

Good to hear, but is that now or since the outbreak began? Personally think its taken too long.to reach this point. .

' Yeah I know many are compliant but its pointless if there is a large percentage who dont. Seems like the UK is becoming a nation of people, who make emotional decisions rather than practical. Same as Brexit. Have seen the term 'sheeple' regarding masks on NSC even. When the world is covering...

Have had masks here since March 12th. Currently only now needed for metro, but govt bringing back Sept 1st to prevent any 2nd wave. Even though currently you are not obliged to wear them,, I would say a good 40-50% still wearing them everywhere. I really dont understand the pushback in the UK...

I doubt that actually. Is it the one you got from the bus company? You lost all credibility with your 'sheeple' comment im afraid.

Yeah, you just have to ask for it, and they will sell you one. so you dont have to follow government advice, to help ensure the slowing down of this thing.

No, you go out and potentially infect somebody with a disease thats out of control mate. Sorry about the distress ive caused you, by suggesting you should avoid contact with people due to your unique condition. My 'stay at home' attitude? ****ing right, stay at home if you cant wear a face...

If necessary, why not. Its been in place a day, and you would have thought it had been in place for years.

Not wearing a mask in these times is arrogant and selfish.

Sorry I find your attitude quite arrogant. You have the potential to pass on an infection that has crippled the world, but not you because you are somewhat special somehow?

Im sorry for your condition. In your case, its better you stay indoors, and friends anf family shop for you. Its inconvenient, yes. My mother has stayed in her flat since March, she is bored to death, but understands, as an ex nurse, the realilties. Here, people wore masks. People in shops...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIIKjrcYn8w As you can see, people made masks, in fact, a cottage industry arose out of it, and people didnt rely on any single sort of mask. They almost became fashion items, and with only, sounds ridiculous, only, 364 deaths, they seemed to have worked...

Not really, wear masks, it will possibly save lives. People keep making excuses for not wearing them, and the death rate is rising Doesnt even have to be a mask, wear a scarf, just cover up. Make a mask. All I see from people are excuses not to wear them. If Czech people can manage to produce...

You misunderstand me. I find it bizarre that people are not wearing a face covering. Its really not a big deal. Czech government made them mandatory with heavy fines for not covering your face. Less than 400 lives have been lost. When I see the UK with numbers like 45000, and still rising, Im...

    Masks

Quite, but I cant think of any major condition that would prevent you covering your face for 10 minutes in a shop. If that is the case, get a family member to get what you need. You shouldnt be out at all. We have dropped face coverings here all but the metro... during the lockdown here, shops...

I should clarify, when I said masks, it didnt have to be a mask particularly, it could be a scarf etc, just some sort of face covering. A cottage industry of making masks soon followed. I got the impression that there was an element off 'im not being forced to wear a mask, im a free man/woman'...

From Day 1 of the State of Emergency being declared here on March 12th, heavy fines for not wearing a facemask anywhere but at home. Its now relaxed to just the metro in Prague. There has been a rise in Karvina due to an outbreak at some coal mine, so still in force there. 350 odd fatalities...
