Pedro has a 5 year contract which we amortise- so he's effectively 6-7m a year for his fee and then we pay his wages above that. (probably 3-4m a year) . So he's - i guess - about 10m a year in total. And of course he's our asset so we could sell him on... Baleba was 25m - so he's cost about 7...

Well fancy that - his wages actually turn out to be probably about 6M Euros a year and Albion are funding 80% of that . So under half the wild figures quoted by some reports (eg 200K a week) - and more in line with (probably) the very very top end of Albion salaries. (Perhaps above even that)...

See @Zeberdi above . It’s also virtually unheard of for Romano to do a “here we go” without it happening (clubs and player - verbal agreement) and the Spanish journo concedes Albion are favourites. But who doesn’t like a bit of extra drama…

It’s not a case if whether Albion have the ££ / it’s whether reports of him earning 10-12m a year are true. Those types of reports usually aren’t. I’d say - unlikely.

I can see Bloom coughing up £4-5m to develop the player for a year but given we’re paying 75% of the wages - not £10m+
