Yeah, that's Bambino Pons, he's the main commentator of Premier League matches in Argentina (and some of Latin America).
He makes up a song for every single goal he commentates so there's a song for probably almost every other goal Brighton's scored in the Premier League.
For Buonanotte's next...
I mean, I think the quote is perfectly reasonable?
"When it was confirmed, I was very sad, but these are things that happen."
Yeah, he obviously wanted to go but he seemingly understands it couldn't happen? Doesn't seem like there's all that much to it
The list for the Sudamericano Sub20 has finally come out and he's in it. I doubt he would've been called up if Brighton hadn't already agreed to release him (think: Man United's Garnacho not being called up) so he's most probably going.
The AFA holds kind of training camps pretty much every other week, especially now that the season in Argentina is over. Generally only local players are called because nobody else is going to make a trip that long only to train. That's probably why Buonanotte was called up for the last few but...
I don't think the list for the Sudamericano Sub 20 has been released yet. That's probably one of the lists for the weekly training camps, which usually only include local players.
As far as I've heard, the list comes out on Jan 5th and the clubs have until then to decide to let them go or not
As far as I know, the list for the Sudamericano Sub 20 hasn't come out yet, but yeah, he'll probably be on it. The AFA's probably delaying it a bit because they're trying to convince European clubs to release the players (among them, Brighton)
I seem to have started something, sorry about that!
Honestly, it's irrelevant, there's always some sort of backdoor dealing in pretty much every other club outside of the big big leagues (and even within them - Italy anyone?), so almost any player any club has ever bought (especially from South...
Thank you! Unfortunately yeah, the inflation sucks as much as it seems. We're all very used to it though, we've been living with low grade inflation for decades pretty much and every once in a while it spikes into hyper inflation (like now)
Honestly, I have no idea what Brighton's scouting set...
More recently Di Maria and Lo Celso are probably the most well known players to have come from Rosario Central.
The problem is nobody actually believes them lol In fact the most common theory is that the President really wanted to push the sale through before December because it'd mean he'd get...
His agent just gave an interview and he's pretty pissed (sorry for the bad translation, my English isn't that great lol):
"We don't want anything to do with this board (directors?). We had a meeting with Brighton, at that moment, Buonanotte didn't have a contract with the club and could leave...
Honestly, while I do think he could easily be worth 8-10m for his potential, I actually wouldn't be surprised if he's sold for 4m or less.
As far as I know Rosario Central's President's term is about to end so he's apparently selling what he can as quickly as possible so all the sales go...
