For me he’s exactly where he reasonably should be in his development given his age & number of games played. Nowhere near the finished article & plenty to improve upon but so there should be at 19.
& he scored against Palace so bonus points there.
Not a chance there’s a buy option in that. He’s only been here since January. He was brought in as a young prospect with lots of hype, no chance after 6 months & few appearances we’re binning him off.
In the same way that Enciso seems to have come through a period of adapting to the league and is now producing on the pitch, im excited to hopefully see the same for Buonanotte and Sarmiento next season. Going to be some more confused football fans next season at where we keep finding these gems.
Great potential, no doubt he will be a very good player in another year or two, but yesterday was not the game to start him in. He’s needs to be eased into things. He’s still learning the game, and because of his age is a little lightweight against the more physical sides. Enciso or March...
Cant remember who said it, but were we not told at one point that an upshot of brexit was that it would now be slightly easier for clubs to sign and get all the necessary permits/visas for players coming from south america. Seems we are really taking advantage of that and other Prem clubs are not.
