I posted about the shit PL form (from Bmuff at the end of Sept). Immediate I got knocky replies that all was marvellous, we were heading to Dublin, the EL games had not added fatigue, that returning players would set us fair for a European place. I can remember some of the posters.
I got no...
We’ve very slowly lost enthusiasm this season, any excuse to bung the tickets on the Exchange. Bloody awful eg Wolves second half at the Amex where we ceded the entire 45 to them …. weird, unfathomable.
Did you post against RDZ then on a non-goalkeeper matter? I can’t remember one person...
Agree about PL form, October to now has been rubbish. If anyone touched on this like me just 6 weeks ago, they were jumped by folk who thought it’d been a great PL season. People who went to EL group away games were clearly enthused by that :drink::drink::drink::drink:. Apparently we were...
We’ll soon find our next season when, as looks likely, he’s at a club with a bigger budget.
Personally I’ll refrain from downgrading Oct 22 to May 23. The greatest Albion team, style of football, results at the highest level in my 48 years of Albion. Such a rarity, we shed our inbuilt Albion...
We had a good run. Losing MacA and Caicedo was a step too far on the playing side, but great for the bank balance. No club would match its previous results if it simultaneously lost two world class CM’s in their prime.
I initially thought the same, but it’s from a new interview with Sky.
At the very least RDZ is preparing the ground for a likely departure once this season’s over. Imho.
On 2 April 2022 we drew 0-0 at home to an awful Norwich team, in almost 7 months we’d won just 3 PL games, we very rarely scored. [This was the last game before Caicedo at The Emirates]. I found this pertinent thread...
Genuinely, I was thinking about you this week, wondering where’d you gone on NS. With > 800 threads on ignore, it’s easy for me to miss folk.
All good here, and you?
Imho the Maupay we got was a huge improvement on what we had before, he had the energy to harass defences who’d had it easy until then, whilst 8 to 10 vital PL goals per season was decent.
Everton got the dud with no legs.
