This doctor, posted just an hour ago. There are ten posts in all, outlining the present situation. Look at the map of GB, in his 5th post, and see the high spot in Brighton. 1428970205431144452 Waiting a long time? Epidemics usually last around 2-3 years.

Of course, I am aware of the dangers of tetanus, and sepsis. As I said before, you are very patronising. There is a happy medium between your blasé ‘life is a risk’ and paranoia which you choose to call hysteria. There are people who cannot be vaccinated due to health conditions. Why should...

You still don’t understand the reason for masks. If you had to have an operation at any time in the future, you will be glad theatre staff wear masks. Noses and mouths harbour ‘bugs’. All sorts of bugs, that don’t affect the person, but can transmit to others. It’s not about protectION but...

There is a booster in the offing, to be given this autumn. Even catching covid only gives six months immunity, so vaccinations are the way to go, especially with mutations.

Why do medical staff wear masks when doing medical procedures? It’s to stop them infecting you. Vets wear masks when operating on animals.

My grandson hasn’t been offered a vaccination yet. I was upset when I found out he had been to the festival because he was coming to football with us this weekend. At his age, I don’t blame him for going, as it’s natural. As I said, he was hospitalised twice when he was younger with asthma.

If you don’t wear a mask then how do you know if you aren’t a carrier? I’m not being nosey, but tests are vital. I know you work outside, so it’s not so vital, but if you’re inside and asymptomatic then wearing a mask protects others.

The reference to being patronised wasn’t to do with wearing masks. How often do you test yourself?

Yes, we should wear masks until the vast majority of the public are vaccinated. Herd immunity is achieved by vaccination not survival of the fittest. I do know the risks of walking downstairs or crossing road having brought up children and as a grandmother to three. Don’t patronise me.

When you talk, you expel air from your mouth, which is why singing was banned for a while as it expels the droplets further than just talking. That's why the six foot gap was advised. It doesn't have to be coughing. Masks do not protect the wearer but do protect people near the wearer...

It doesn't really matter if my grandson is ill, and he is. He's also vulnerable having been hospitalised twice with asthma when he was younger. Wearing masks protects others and is responsible. Some other person passed the virus to him and he is ill.

My 17 year old grandson went to a festival last weekend and now has covid. He is quite ill with it. There is a need for masks, as youngsters haven't been vaccinated yet,
