Agree with this.
To be honest RDZ has the potential to go onto bigger and better things.
And Bloom aiming for top 10 rather than anything more extreme is very sensible financially when you look at other clubs who chase the dream.
I just hope the crowd doesn't turn sour because we have a...
I don't disagree with all of that, although at the start of last season we failed to score v Newcastle, scraped past Leeds, and couldn't break down Fulham. Blistering attacking football is a bit of a stretch based largely on us battering Leicester, and an on the beach Man U the season before...
Not disagreeing with you, RDZ inherited a great squad. But in the first 6 games under GPot we'd beaten two sides who'd go on to he relegated, lost at at Fulham, and got an impressive win at Old Trafford and drawn at home to Newcastle. Think the fact we were 4th and just thumped Leicester...
I don't think it's the same at all.
GPot took 2 and a half seasons to start getting results - albeit the team in season one was deep in an Ashworth transformation to a young, technical team. But that second season side should have been much better.
RDZ took a better side to Europe playing...
Maupay and Welbeck up front that season plus Webster Moder and Alzate but Potter wasted it playing Zequiri at wing back. It was a shit show. A 2nd lockdown was bad enough before the mental strain of watching that shit.
The second season was Potter's biggest disgrace
Imagine having a squad with these players and only finishing 16th. It's laughable
Sanchez
White
Burn
Dunk
Veltman
Lamptey
Gross
Lallana
Macallister
Bissouma
Trossard
March
Sorry, why?
It is us, the fans who owe Bloom.
De Zerbi has made comments about how proud he is to manager this side and group of players in most press conferences.
De Zerbi is young and ambitious. In his eyes, he's given us a 6th place finish, but then not been adequately backed to improve on...
Well, presumably it's the bad results like Luton, Roma and Everton that have put you off.
Rather than RDZ' comments that he needed to do better as coach in the games we've squandered points.
Or a top manager might think we've sold so much quality; White Bissouma Cucurella Trossard Caicedo Mac Allister, that it's nearly caught up with us, and we've simply struggled to cope with the injury crisis on top.
And yet here we are, sat in 8th despite missing Mitoma and March (35 goals or...
I am still stunned how many people on here are happy if he leaves because we don't win every game. Many of the same people that were content with Potter taking us to 16th with a better side than we have now. All very strange.
