I'm not going to hear better today, so here's mine now: The album has just been rereleased on vinyl prompting me to get my copy from the garage (including free ep). Love everything by Rockpile, but this sums them up at their best.

This is just so sweet and sad. A beautiful demo. John Lennon warbling away at the top of his voice about his love for Yoko while plonking away at the piano. And so poignant. His final song before being brutally murdered.

Just watched and listened to all 13m. Wonderful stuff.

I do like this:

Never been this far off piste before, but the whole episode of Star Trek Strange New Worlds is a musical masterpiece, surely up for awards. Is this the best song? Maybe not, but if the singing and dancing Klingons doesn't get you to watch this episode and maybe the series, you surely have no soul.

A cross between Day Tripper and Ticket to Ride, mixed up with The Byrds and produces another classy song by Marty Stuart.

Sing Albion instead of Altitude. Once sung, never forgotten. Great song from a brilliant album.
