I'm not so sure ... I've not seen that data either (80-95) If it were 80 going to 95 then there are huge reasons to do it. The fear is it is x% rising to x% after 21 days but x% rising to a number (not quantified) less than the 21 day x% after 12 weeks. I'm sticking with the manufacturer...

Why wouldn't Pfizer publish it if they had it though? All matey said was there is data to show it's effective .... I think one of the concerns is not that 12 weeks might render it ineffective, but that the effectiveness diminishes somewhat/moderately/greatly and nothing he said dismisses that...

I wish I had your confidence! I also see that the leaders in vaccinations (Israel) are proposing to close borders for minimum 14 days There's no doubt the data exists, I would love to see it P.S. Well done on stuffing Fulham today ... despite them missing 4/5 of their best hope it has their...

Do you have any links? I'd be keen to see cases by time elapsed since jabbed.

I agree. I wonder if any numbers will be published showing positive cases / hospitalisations for those that have had 1 or 2 jabs and time lapsed? Unlikely I s'pose

According to my neighbour (mid 80's) who whatsapped me yesterday, there are two people in our street of 90 that haven't been contacted yet. Disappointing to say the least, but hopeful they'll balance out the distribution better as they get more experience

Very admirable indeed but I can't see they would have a chance of succeeding if they tried to fire someone and it ended up in court

I thought they were publishing daily vaccinated numbers from yesterday. Anyone know where that might be found? Only numbers I can find are aggregate to date

I was responding to the statement that the Pfizer vaccine was never going to be taken to care homes. It was, and in 'large' numbers. It made sense to have held larger stocks at hospitals for front line staff and patients in the knowledge that Oxford was coming up.

I heard we had the vaccine but were short of the phials to put it in!! Whatever, we've known for an eternity this was coming down the line It will be **** up of immense proportions I fear

I don't disagree but I fear part of the logic is due to the massive balls up they are about to make. Their are many thousands that could be brought in to administer and who could have been 'trained' to the extent needed. I believe there would be armies of volunteers and a willingness for those...

Will need to get back when my turn comes round (65) and that will probably involve quarantine when I get there. I guess it's a moving feast but if anyone has any word on these it would be helpful: - How much notice is being given? - How easy/difficult is it to switch appointment dates? We...

I suspect you'll know this. Given the really small numbers of infections in both groups not only do I wonder about the statistical reliability (but that can swing either way) but also the different behaviours of those in the tests. Not much point giving a vaccine to someone who is going to...
