    Agreed, but there’s a fine line between damaging a young players confidence by playing him out of position, and we playing him where he can establish himself. Hinshelwood is a clear exception to the above though.

    Playing in a more natural position IMO. He shouldn’t play wide.

    But Mitoma has pace to exploit a gap, Buononotte does not. An overlapping full-back will soon get sussed out, particularly if allowing space that may be created isn’t used productively. Buononotte’s most successful performance was arguably at Forest where he was central.

    Exactly, not enough pace for a wide player and doesn’t have a trick like a Knockaert to create space, should be central. As others have said a loan might have been better this season, but I’m sure those who see him every day have a better idea than myself.

    Buononotte looked a lot better than Enciso did initially IMO. He’ll come good.
