[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

The one from Venezuela we should get is David Martínez from Monagas FC. He’s the brightest talent they have had this century, 17 year old right winger.

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

It’ll be harder than some of our recent South American signings. No full international caps (he’s played for Argentina u-20s) and he hasn’t played in the Copa Libertadores. Argument we could ask for special dispensation as he’s arguably ‘Argentinas greatest prospect’ and is getting regular...

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

Chelsea’s will not depend on one person either. Winstanley will have knowledge, experience and know who are contacts are in that region. Yes we have a pathway, but Boehly is looking at a Portuguese club to become Chelsea’s development club. That’s going to be a much easier adjustment for some...

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

It’s exactly because of our identification of players like Caicedo, Enciso and Buonannote that Winstanley is being recruited. Picking up those highly rated South American wonder kids is going to get a whole lot harder.

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

Reports in South America are saying we’re back in touch over making the move happen. Rosario want us to improve on our $6m basic, plus $6m potential add ons though. Balls in our court presently.

Looks like Lucas Assadi may be our Chilean wonder kid.

Not sure on Enciso, but Moises definitely does. Like Blockhseagulls says figures should be taken with a pinch of salt. South American clubs have a history of inflating price that goes out to the public. Plus that club has a few troubles at the moment, also believe the clubs election is near.

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

Latest reports from South America are the deals agreed. $10m plus 20% sell on. Just all paperwork needs drawing up, medical and signing, so a few hurdles left to go.

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

Probably need to move quick on this one. Couple of reports overnight that both Citi group and Juventus have been sniffing round. His club looking at 8m, twice what we’ve offered. Not a surprise really considering his potential, what we paid for Enciso and also our financial incomings this window.

More importantly it says he has half Italian citizenship, which should make his eventual loan to USG easier.
