My biggest fear this season was that the Albion would find themselves 3-0 down at half time at Selhurst against a much depleted Palace team and our so called "Superfans" would desert the team and leave the ground and turn against the players and staff and hide from social media...

I'm a bit confused this season about European places. The highest United could finish if they beat us is seventh - is that still a Conference place ?

Why would United be fired up?- they will be resting up for the Cup Final . IMO

To be fair - that is pretty much what happens on NSC every time we lose or draw a match that we think we should win. However, our good friends up the road just take it that bit farther and it manifests at home games or London away games (as they don't tend to travel outside the M25 in numbers).

Yep. No doubt Palace are doing well at the moment but in reality all you've done is saved yourselves from a last month relegation battle.

Eze is a brilliant player who I would love to see at the Albion. We have the money but I don't think he will come here (wages ?) even if we splashed out ,which we never seem to do.

Plus Ferguson fit and back to last seasons form.

On that basis Olise and Eze will be at Selhurst next season - poor souls.

To be fair to Palace they do seem to be able to hold onto their better players (Zaha for instance) for longer than us. I suppose they pay them grossly inflated wages :shrug:

Brighton Pier to Falmer is under 5 miles. Palace to Brighton is 13 points.

I saw a lovely YouTube video from a Palace fan who was covering the match on his phone from the South Stand. He became more and more angry as the game went on and left at 3-0. As he stormed away from the Stadium he filmed himself saying "We are Relegated !" , at this moment a roar went up and he...

Does anyone else think that the signage at Palace reminds me of that which you get at a circus ?

They haven't beaten us home and away in a League season since about 1930 something. I know a lot of the time we were in different divisions but I think it's about 30+ attempts for them, and they can't do it this season either.

Unfortunately I'm expecting the hapless and hopeless Chelsea to help them out.

Palace fans biggest fear ...... Next season 3 decent teams come up. :ffsparr:
