I like what I’ve seen of Fermin and lately he’s been a really important player for you.
Obviously Yamal is incredible but Cubarsi also looks insanely good for his age. Isn’t there a concern though about the low salary and buy out contract he’s got at the moment and that you won’t be able to...
Disagree with that comment. And yes, the Championship where Sarmiento has not pulled up any trees at two different clubs and is now getting a few minutes at the end of Ipswich’s games.
I think it’s unfair to say Fati doesn’t have the right attitude or doesn’t care etc, he’s clearly suffering a...
Whilst I agree his reluctance to take his man on is frustrating and a sign of his fragile confidence, I thought he had one of his best games for us tonight (not a huge sample I’ll admit!). Seemed to get the bit between his teeth and showed more desire than he has previously.
But he was like this before his recent injury for us and Barca when he had been fit for well over a year. He wasn’t taking people on like he used to, always opting for the safe option. Barca loaned him to us hoping he would get over this mental block he has but it’s just not happened.
He’s...
Frustrating yesterday. Did some tidy things but it is so sad to watch a formally pacy, direct and exciting world class talent afraid to even take on a very average in talent and pace Nottingham Forest full back.
What’s been evident this season with Fati is what Barcelona felt about him last season and why they hoped loaning him out would be the answer - mentally he’s not the same player he was before the injuries, something in his head is holding him back. That is why RDZ has been working so hard with...
Think that’s a bit harsh on Buonanotte. He had a very good first half and worked so hard all game.
Fati could learn from Buonanotte’s desire and physical effort to be honest.
I love watching these training video's, it does give you an idea of just how good all of these guys are. Peupion for example, miles away form being a regular player for us and yet his touch is exquisite.
You can tell he’s spent a lot of time with our physio’s recently! He’s definitely bulked up since his injury.
He’s going to return to Barca with arms the size of Igor’s legs.
I genuinely think another season with us on loan would be the best thing for all parties anyway.
I guess it will largely depend on where we finish in the league and whether we're in Europe again because of the high level of wages we're paying. I really hope can can keep him anyway.
They’re very different players and play in different positions so not linked.
Lamine Yamal is the 16 year old who has broken through this season and plays further forward if that is who you mean?
It was a beautiful, calm finish but he made it easy with his wonderful first touch which was played to perfection. All of his goals for us have just been stroked in. He's such a lovely, natural finisher.
Love this kid. Him and Pedro is the strike force I've longed for and always dreamed of for...
If you’d have told me 15 years ago when he was doing a half decent job in midfield for us in the third division that Crofty would be enjoying bantz at Brighton training with a Barcelona prodige…..
I love watching this kid play and the strikeforce of him and Pedro. Whilst I think it’s unlikely we’ll be able to sign him permanently, there is a chance.
Barca, despite their financial difficulties, keep producing ridiculously talented, attacking youngsters through La Masia to add their squad...
This. The finishes yesterday and against City on Saturday demonstrated that perfectly. Beautiful technique, not trying to hit the ball too hard, placing them and taking them early. Taking the shot early is always a sign of a natural finisher.
