A lovely evening had by all. And I think - despite the fact I was PROPER gutted to lose - on the cold light of day Palace are probably due a win. The fact they come down every year without fail makes them a real credit to their club.

In fairness, Tommy Elphick sponsored me. The team had already set off for MK Dons.

I have to say the official deserve a big hand. The ref in particular was brilliant I thought. Chatted to the players during the game, explained all his decisions and really joined in with the spirit of the occasion.

It is all in the extra pounds TMLS. This man CLEARLY knows his stuff.
