Sorry to read that.
If you open an incognito window in Chrome and are able to navigate around NSC a bit without hitting any issues, then it is a problem with your browser in regular non-incognito mode.
The following steps if followed exactly as listed WILL resolve it, and with the changes made...
I've had that (or similar full-screen scroller) twice in two weeks. I'm not a fan but the frequency is low enough that I've no immediate plans to change it.
You may or may not have noticed that last night I shrunk the between-post ads so they are slimmer and take up far less screen real...
Sorry I’m out for the night so slightly limited in being able to provide direct help right now.
If you are using Chrome on a desktop or laptop then follow these steps…

Well, that's good news.
Yesterday I asked NSC's hosting company to up a server parameter (in Apache for the technically interested) that *may* have fixed things from the server side, which they did.
When you posted last night, I thought I may as well try restarting all of NSC's web services...
You start typing northstandchat in the search box until just northstandchat.com is displayed below. How many letters you need to type depends on what other sites you visit, but you probably won't need to go much beyond nort. No need to hit return, the search results are displayed, and reduced as...

I was unpicking a few legacy behind-the-scenes things that had become a bit of a mess and may well have tripped the site over in the future. I wanted to do it in a semi-controlled...

Again, as I posted above, I am going to get this remedied and have...
