[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

How the hell did Mascherano pull that off? Happy that Goodnight isn't going. Gives him some time off as he's going to be essential for the second half of the season with all the games we've got left imo Can't see the club turning down a request for him to play, maybe he wasn't asked or as Z...

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

This. When he was out wide I thought he looked lost and clueless, trying to come into the middle and running into trouble. He was much better last night in the middle. A bit like Enciso was, he needs to get his head up and see a pass that's on. A couple of times he ran into 2/3 players when a...

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

We were struggling at the end of last season with injuries and fatigue. This season we'll have even more games and without the ever present Caicedo and Mac Argie. I would have thought he'd be an integral part of the squad for the season as we need don't have the depth of other European playing...

That other Argie bloke left on the bench, Mac something. Shows what happens when you leave BHAFC:lolol: Absolutely buzzing for Facundo.

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

But But, but But, but, BUT I read on here a few days ago he was SHIT and should never be near the first team. So who was wearing his shirt in that sublime performance last night?

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

What's"it"? Buonanotte is 18, came half way around the world in January, not speaking English, playing in the toughest league in the world, expected to play in a totally new role and system and being thrown in at the deep end because we don't have the squad depth to give him the time to settle...

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

Surely the fault is with the organisers of the tournament. All the European Leagues are still going. If they delayed the starting date by a couple of weeks then it would not have been an issue. Ridiculous situation to put a top PL club, player and national team in. Heads you win, tails I lose...

Obvious RDZ thinks we dont need him for the games he'll miss. Lets hope he doesnt come back in a neck brace or with a broken foot. :moo:

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

Not really. As long as he knows that he'll be primarily keeping the bench warm should be fine

[Albion] Facundo Buonanotte - SIGNED for 1.8 billion pesos

As Enciso speaks hardly any English and we have a whole South American/Spanish contingent here that will help him or have helped him settle/offer support etc.. and the fact he's still only 18, I'd think a loan unlikely for this window at least. Might be good in terms of his football...

My wife's Aunt is in South America and we tried 5-6x to get a visa for her to visit pre-Brexit and got turned down each time. Just got one approved with even less hoops to jump through. My personal experience.
