    Port Vale was always a splendid away trip. Excellent pub crawl. Scenery optional. I've only been to see Stoke City once. Rather dull.

    Thankfully nowhere to be seen. There were a few families and kids surrounding the Braintree players. One or two knuckle draggers hoping to provoke the home fans but the place soon dealt with them. All good.

    In fairness Braintree probably deserved it the path they have taken. Good pitch invasion too. I love the way the policeman threw the knuckle dragger back who was trying to provoke the Worthing crowd.
