I don't think any team in the world has the squad to play de zerbi ball successfully. Even pepp and klopp are defensive sometimes when required. Dezerbiball is flawed and needs tweaking. We don't press as much as bielsas Leeds but we are becoming as open as them. It's so easy to create chances...

Good post. I've always seen through RDZs carefully managed persona and the way he not so subtly drops in headline grabbing quotes to his interviews (yes I'm very cynical) .... But you kind of forgave him because he had such a big positive , run through walls personality, and you wanted him...

There was another interview he did for the club website where it was worded differently. But even if you just take this interview on it's own. Tony bloom does not do 'expensive' he does value signings. I'm convinced this was de zerbis signing.

Definitely is. Bloom said a couple of times when we signed fati that he thought he was 'expensive' ....this is not the type of thing that bloom ever says or ever has said before. I felt at the time, bloom knew it was gonna fail.
