Glad he didn't come on. There was so much persistent fouling (by both teams) because play was often in tight, congested areas that he really wouldn't have fancied it, imo.
I find this comment about Solly odd. Like Fati, he'll be coming back from serious injury - so I doubt he'll be quickly back to his old form.... erm, like Fati. A Fati playing like he did before his Barca injury VS a Solly playing like he was before his big injury? They'd obviously both walk...
Wrong type of player for this league and this team who, understandably, has his own priorities re personal fitness over being a team player. Shame as the loan had so much potential, or did it? Somewhat predictable with hindsight an' all.
You have to question why a lightweight player coming back from injury would choose/be chosen to play in a faster and more physical league....
Anyways, a few Europa League goals and all can be forgiven!
I believe he's come on in the last two games but I've had to check as he's been completely anonymous. Hope he gets up to speed soon as I was enjoying his performances before his injury.
