Not really. Potter came in and changed the way we set the team up to play altogether - and like Hughton before him, he worked with the players he was given.
There's a lot of short memories around! Hughton did a great job, getting us to the PL and keeping us there. Quite a few of us, TBH, were shocked - and not entirely happy! - when he was sacked.
Potter did a great job too, changing the style completely, and although the manner of his departure...
Well, he's certainly shipped out a fair few big names that were likely part of the problem. Probably the same thing that Potter would have planned to do this summer.
Whether he's kicked out enough, and whether he'll be given time to rebuild, remain as unanswered questions.
