There’s no doubt the front door of the hospital is under immense pressure.

I’ve looked at hospitals abroad as well.
It is a completely different culture as well, not necessarily for the better, and many of them raved about our services.
It does boil down to funding IMO….
They were supposed to, as they are a designated trauma centre.
I don’t work for UHSx so don’t know precise detail, but if they want to be a trauma centre (which they do), they need state of the art A&E plus functional helicopter pad.

Location wise Great Western (Swindon) is very good, the design is not the best, similarly Royal Bournemouth is sufficiently out of town access wise.
A lot of hospitals like old football grounds are landlocked from a development perspective.
