Don't believe it's conected to the Caicedo saga at all - Kudus hasn't agreed terms; he wants more money so is hoping for a 'big' club to come in for him (or us to shatter our pay structure). But it's de Zerbi who has been pushing for him, apparantly.

Nowt to do wih us not committing, by all accounts - it seems pretty clear that it's the player who is stalling on the deal (hoping for a bid coming in from a bigger club (or bigger paying club, of you prefer) perhaps?)

Yes, but only in context of a deal invlving Caicedo, I think. Besides, we'd actually had Colwill here for a season, so were in a position to know it wasn't a risk - in this case,, Chelsea are unfortunately right; an exceptional young talent they don't want to sell at any price.
