Sounds very likely - by all accounts the Albion and Ajax had agreed a deal (for a lower amount than the West Ham bid apparantly) but Kudus couldn't/wouldn't agree terms.
Let's hope our offer isn't the only one accidentally left on the table then!
Stuff of dreams for the selling club - or the stuff of nightmares if the player keeps refusing personal terms. Imagine how awkward it woud be if Caicedo turned down Liverpool, but Chelsea had then come back and said, no thanks, we're not bidding any higher.
Beginning to hope Weat ham (or anybody...
Is he still holding out for something better than Brighton to come along? If so, it's not a good look as far as I'm concerned - I'd rather get rid (for huge amounts of money) of players who don't want to be he than buy them!
Don't believe it's conected to the Caicedo saga at all - Kudus hasn't agreed terms; he wants more money so is hoping for a 'big' club to come in for him (or us to shatter our pay structure).
But it's de Zerbi who has been pushing for him, apparantly.
Nowt to do wih us not committing, by all accounts - it seems pretty clear that it's the player who is stalling on the deal (hoping for a bid coming in from a bigger club (or bigger paying club, of you prefer) perhaps?)
Yes, but only in context of a deal invlving Caicedo, I think. Besides, we'd actually had Colwill here for a season, so were in a position to know it wasn't a risk - in this case,, Chelsea are unfortunately right; an exceptional young talent they don't want to sell at any price.
