Absolutely agree with this. Great they're getting a go, and I can see the positives of the young S Americans being kept together, but there's probably at least three players out on loan who would be contributing as much (or as little) coming off the bench.
Said in jest, and this is said in slight jest- you see from the thread about the possibility of being owned by dodgy money that success moves people's ethical line pretty quickly.
I'm surprised the club didn't get him a move where the intention was to play him at DM. I just can't see where else he'd fit in at this level. He's main asset seems to be 'decent enough on the ball'. That's essentially the baseline for any modern defender. So there's a lot of work to do.
