I'm no expert on this, but non-solicitiation clauses are legal in the UK. We obvipusly do not know if DA had one in his contract, but Bloom seems a shrewd person who is keen to protect his assets so I presume he would have.

I might be wrong, but I think the type of contract dazzer6666 is talking about is more like a permanent contract with 12 months notice period either side.
