I did smile at this this from BBC news
“There was no confirmation from Russia's navy that the Caesar Kunikov had been sunk in the Black Sea, merely that six Ukrainian drones had been destroyed.”
I’d guess drones were destroyed most likely by hitting the ship. It’s a positive spin on the event...
You would imagine if it’s such a week spot there’s a few NATO troops dotted around, that and decent air cover/missile defence/offensive systems. If they struggle in Ukraine (who haven’t had the luxury of the full range of modern weapons) you’d imagine it might not go well there.
Interesting post, it appears all is not well within the Russian military.
A surprising level of detail, which does make me wonder if it’s deception, trying to get Ukraine to attack in a particular place.
Cheers I’ll give it a watch later. Let’s hope this leads to some division and infighting. If so we could see the Illegal operation in Ukraine fall apart 🤞
It would be quite interesting to see what would happen if a few Ukrainians or anti Putin Russian’s launched some sort of attack on Prigorzhin’s troops under the guise of friendly troops or vice Versa. You would hope that Ukrainian intelligence are exploiting this to the maximum.
I saw that the Russian sole aircraft carrier, apparently caught fire today. In dry dock which seems to be unconnected to their illegal occupation. Seems to be a small fire, unfortunately, probably just a little more black smoke coming off it than usual...
I’d guess (and it’s only a guess mind) that by what peterward has contributed to this thread he’s got a good understanding of the history of Ukraine and it’s politics.
