Yes,they do say if you are hit by lightning then it's highly likely you will be hit again. It's a fascinating phenomenon. Thanks for posting this,it's an Interesting story albeit tragic too.

If you do get caught in a lightning storm then please remember to lay flat on the ground,face down and cover your ears. You will feel all the hairs stand on end before a lightning strike so you get a second or two warning,but hit the deck like I said and you should be ok.

That's interesting.i hadn't heard that.as I understand it if the aerial is plugged in then the lightning will strike my aerial on the roof sending high voltage down the aerial lead into my telly which then explodes like a claymore mine in my lounge but also the charge then travels via the telly...
