Kicking off in BN1

Lots of lightning last night in BN1 outskirts, not much thunder. More thunder happening now than lightning. Long pauses in between & I'm considering whether to go to bed & it will pass. Or stay up & try & take pathetic pics if it gets above us.

That's an amazing pic! I'm soaked and managed a purple sky! There's probably some science to it, but the moment I move my camera to a 'new' direction or give up, there's a big strike where my camera was pointing at 10 seconds previously!
