Just a question, if we were doing the opposite of gradual easing, what could we have actually done any quicker.

No they can’t work from home, but it just doesn’t seem right to me, the edict is all but essential travel is banned, is playing sport essential?
So a bunch of footballers travelling from an area of non-essential travel would be deemed, well - essential?
While I appreciate not many, if any of the players will actually live in Leicester, it would set a pretty poor example to the ordinary citizens of Leicester if they travel elsewhere to play!
I thought precisely that, it supposedly gives the government the opportunity to show it's local lockdown strategy, which if anything in the past is evidence to go by, is likely to be poorly thought out and unworkable...

This does deserve a thread of its own as this the first opportunity the government has had to demonstrate how they will react to localised outbreaks and localised lockdowns.
