The sad thing is he was 1 of 4 to have died so far in the nursing home and more have it. I don't think they have it under control in nursing homes.

i haven't seen it mentioned on the thread... sorry if it has but i just watched the film Contagion... wow how very similar to what we are currently going through... a film from 2011. Starting with the virus coming from China originating from bats, to the symptoms being a fever and a dry cough...

Just had another girl in the group say we exercise together but we are 2 meters apart... and then actually said it's just a coincidence we keep meeting each other at the same point.... people are retarded.

I was forwarded a vid in a watsapp group earlier. This vid was from the daily mail website and was clearly posted to stoke up hate for the police and traffic wardens. The vid is a guy filming traffic wardens because he has received 5 tickets saying this is isolation. Are you key workers etc etc...

Thank you to all NHS workers..... teachers, delivery drivers, police etc etc goes without saying. I would never call a health care worker low skilled... Didn't the government classify anyone earning less that 50k (or whatever the figure was) as low skilled? Stupid to base it on salary. NHS...

on another note has anyone seeing these videos doing the rounds about the Corona being a hoax and it is due to 5g being so dangerous that they are trying to keep people off the streets. In china they are pulling down these masts and birds have been dropping down dead everywhere...

I don't get it either... We got a friend to do our shopping once in 2 weeks when she did hers. We didn't even do a big shop. Are people genuinely worried that they are going to starve to death... ridiculous

4th/5th April sounds about right for the peak doesn't it? 14 days to develop and after that sunny weekend just before lockdown... Unless we calculate 14 days to develop and then the next few days for the virus to take hold and be at it's worse... In which case 11th/12th sounds like another...

It's all that's on the news, it's in every paper, all news website and yet some twits still don't get the lag... i'm dumbfounded... this is really annoying. I found that the most stupid in society are usually the ones with the biggest mouths.

Why suddenly change the period of the cases that are reported on? won't that skew all the data that has come before? Are we now reporting the number of cases per day the same way as the rest of europe or a different way? making comparisons pointless.

I am very happy with the lockdown and expected it tonight as so many selfish divs were not doing what was right however hearing the address from BoJo was still a little surreal and made me a little anxious. I have been doing everything he has said for days however it's still scary to hear that...
