Many businesses and service providers love the restrictions that they can impose on the great unwashed to restrict the public movement, banks, vets dentists etc, they won’t be quick to remove the stickers or the systems

Totally agree with you, clearly some people have got very comfortable on furlough, WFH etc etc whilst the rest of us without any help have tried to make a living throughout this pandemic.
If they want to stay at home and hide great, their choice, meanwhile the rest of us want to get our lives...

Tbf Tom my son is one of the above, he started a four year business management degree last week, he’s fairly pragmatic about it, his words, a few months out of four years is no great shakes and in four years the world will be a better place for him to re enter the job market.
