Thanks for your response mate. And no personal disrespect intended whatsoever but... isn't that exactly what they said within both our lifetimes about the dolphins in the 'Dolphinarium'? *edit* Just seen @jevs response after I posted my response above. I get it that you two are the experts on...

Certainly not one of the better photos on this thread, but maybe one of the more surprising. Taken yesterday morning at Preston Rockery, it's a terrapin the size of a dinner plate! Seeing as how its a non-native species, I'm thinking some disaffected pet owner may have chucked it in...

Looks pretty damn perfick to me. FANTASTIC shot! :clap2: (IMHO you would only diminish the shot by overlaying it with photo editing tricks)

Great shot! Tho from a position of complete ignorance I think from a general POV it would be brilliant if posters could include where photos were taken. No real reason really, other than out of interest. Spanish Imperial Eagle may well be a major hint. Tho not necessarily

Love those shots. Cracking stuff! Gotta ask: how much trial and error does it take to get that level of sharpness? I'm guessing years of knowing what you are doing is the answer. I wouldn't know where to start

Big clock, Preston Park Even though I pass by the clock just about every day, it rarely registers quite how handsome it is. I guess the bright morning sunshine and the bare trees help show it off at its best from this angle

Blimey! I'd be thrilled to just SEE a kingfisher, let alone take such a stunning shot of one

Took this shot about a week before UK lockdown, on my Generation Easyjet mini-break to Innsbruck. Still shudder when I think about it. Was only there for two full days. Saved going up that hill for the second day on account of Accuweather. Then when I got there earlydoors they were waiting on...
