Ah ha, but they were the same price in reality as online for mine, and very local, but point taken :)

Not sure to be happy or sad on this. I have a cartridge I need to return to swap for the correct one.

Also beware the imposter, Belhaven, that lovely old Scottish brewery, now owned by greene king.

I also meant to say that the brewers of craft beer certainly don't need CAMRA, it's the other way around. CAMRA is a gonner, unless you love bland brown beer.........

Well, I'm 53 so probably the average age, but for me now, CAMRA has now had it's day. They came in and did a fantastic job, but won't move with the times, which seems so ironic. Me and my mates love our beer, and we don't care whether it's cask or keg, pasteurised or non. We just love the...

That's a shame, Tubbs. I used to be involved at a venue that hosted the beer festival on 3 occasions, and I wound up the guys because of my love of Punk. The top 3 guys I had to deal with all said that they would like to change things because things really have changed. These guys wanted to...

Had a half of champagne saison ( £3.50 ) down The Brookstead on Tuesday. It's probably not a saison, per se, but trying very hard. It's highly carbonated, going with the champagne theme. Anyhow, thoroughly bloody enjoyable.

Veg, don't be so precious. As it happens, the brewdog boys are turning out to be a couple of sweet numpties. However, the boys haven't changed their quality brews, if anything, they've improved them, and made available to all, because they deserve their place on the super market shelf, taking...

Spent an an afternoon in Wetherspoons in Worthing, Sir TImothy Shelley. No Punk IPA to be had, although the young lady behind the bar absolutely insisted that Greene King IPA was the same. Saying that, I had a few tins of Treason, labelled as West Coast IPA, and marvelous it was too x

I agree totally, although I'm hoping that it's just an extra to be added in what is an excellent place. There is no better sight to see than your missus smiling and thinking what a load of numpties we are :drink:.

I'm up for this. Drinking good beer and talking cobblers is my strong point.:bla: Personally, I'd much rather do this after an Albion game.

I love my beer but I genuinely can't see what the fuss is about with this Plateau. I've had it it on more than one occasion and it's , er, ok, and really that's about it for me. Rather 'wishy washy' for me, chaps.
